4K projectors seem to be starting to trickle down to mid-price projectors. Thanks to Optoma. So far, home theater projectors with 4K resolution were available at over $8,000. Optoma seems to have slashed that price by 75 percent by unveiling two UHD single-chip DLP projectors.
