Difference between the S5 and the S6
The Samsung Galaxy S5 was loaded with features and good ones, still it failed to do well in the market. Most users and Samsung fans complained that it was mainly because it looked cheaped due to its plastic body whereas its competitors like Apple, HTC and LG had premium aluminium bodies giving it a more classy and expensive look. With Galaxy S6 comes a more premium looking Samsung smartphones. So unlike the Galaxy S5 the S6 and the S6 Egde came with a glass back and matte metal frame with a Gorilla Glass on the front. There’s no doubt that people today need the best looking phones with great performance and seems like Samsung has understood that pretty well with the S6 and the S6 Edge. The new design makes these phones narrower and thinner than the S5.
The Galaxy S5 was worthy of its flagship but still it failed it the market, the S6 does offer some upgrades but they aren’t anything huge. Both the S5 and the S6 sport 5.1 displays, cameras on both the S5 and S6 offer 16 megapixels. But Samsung has added a wider f/1.9 aperture on the new phones, which captures 40 percent more light as compared with the S5, which means higher-quality photos taken in low-light surroundings. This is a small but good tweak. Samsung also did away with some of its TouchWiz device software, which makes the S6 better than the S5.
The Galaxy S6 also comes with a few drawbacks. Like the aluminium and glass body doesn’t allow for a removable battery. And there’s no SD memory card slot to add additional memory. These functional features were considered staples of former versions of the Galaxy products. All said and done, if you choose to live without a flashy phone but with good functionality, you could get the S5 and save a lot of money, but if your smartphone means the world to you and is more like a style statement and you want top notch, A1 specifications than the S6 and the S6 is for you.
