    Optoma Introduces Ultra-Short Throw Laser Projector – LCT100

    Enjoying a super-sized cinema experience at home is no longer an impossible (although still elitist) dream. Optoma recently unveils LCT100, its latest ultra-short throw laser projector in the Indian market. Powered by a long-lasting, low maintenance, lamp-free, laser light source, it delivers a true cinematic experience at home with superior color reproduction. The Optoma LCT100 projector is priced at a fairly expensive MRP of 5,96,000 INR, but is available from leading stores across India.

    Key Features

    Laser Technology

    A solid-state laser-phosphor light engine with 3,000 lumens brightness, instead of a traditional projector lamp, allows consumers to watch TV programs, movies. Optoma is even marketing LCT100 for gamers so they could play games in their own home in a more immersive way. Equipped with laser technology, it also brings longer life expectancy up to 20,000 hours.

    Ultra-Short Throw

    With ultra-short throw lens, Optoma LCT100 can project an impressive 100  image from just 30cm away on a flat surface or screen. That’s amazing. And also it makes easier for consumers to install the projector, eliminating the need for lengthy cables.

    PureMotion Technology

    For smoother motion, the projector uses Optoma’s PureMotion technology that uses sophisticated frame-interpolation technology and advanced motion control processing to eliminate motion blurring or judder during high-speed action sequences.

    Easy setup and Operations

    Supports the latest digital media interface, including  MHL, HDcast Pro, and a flexible I/O to connect directly to the projector to play back music and video, view pictures.Further, we can even share webpages and other user generated digital media content.

    Integrated 10W Speakers

    We’re getting a powerful built-in speaker as well for powerful sound.

    Commenting on the launch, Gordon Wu, Assistant Vice President at Optoma APAC said “In India, changing lifestyles, decrease in price, and rising spending on electronics has led to an upsurge in demand for projectors, when home entertainment vertical has been growing at a slightly higher pace,”.
